Allows Search allows the users to search for a model by text matched to various fields in the Model details menu of a model.
In the basic search a search can be matched by,
1. Model → Name, Description
2. Scenario
ie: In the below screen shot, the user has searched for the term 'Maribyrnong'. The system has a model named 'Maribyrnong'
Clicking on the search results will navigate the user to the Model Details page of the model.
Filter Search
Filter Search gives the user a better control on the search results. By default, the search term will be matched by the following fields. Users can untick checkboxes for the fields if search needs to be narrowed down.
Search on Map
Users can search for models by the geographical location using this feature. The following are the main features of Search on Map functionality.
Click on the map
Clicking on a specific point of the map will list the models that are associated with the area. The map will display the outline of the area that the model is applied to.
Ctrl+drag
Users can use Ctrl+drag to select an area in the map. The search results will include all models associated with the area selected.
Search by Overlays
This drop down menu has three overlays to help the user visualize the different regions of the map area.
Show/Hide all models
Displays the outlines of all models in the map area. This can be helpful to the consumer to see the outlines of all models.
, the search term is matched by all fields in the above hierarchy. If one or more of these fields of model details are matched to the search text, the search results will display the matched fields with the value of the field which the search term got matched.
All search results are sorted alphabetically in the list.

It is important to note that the basic search is functionality is case-sensitive. |
Below is a breakdown of a search result for the search term 'River model'. This has returned search results for the model Broughton River, the text 'River' in the search text has partially matched this model name.
Search terms can be either fully or Partially matched. For example,
- To fully match a text: use double quotes "" with the search term.
- ie: "River Model" model will search for the models strictly with the model name River Model, River Models. A model with the name River Modelling, River Modeller won't match.
- To Partially match a text: use the search text without using the double quotes.
- ie: Searching for River Model will return results with matched terms such as River Modelling, River Modeller, River.
