Although MUSICX projects are typically setup using the MUSICX graphical user interface, you can also import MUSIC projects as .msf file. This is particularly important when you want to import your MUSIC classic (MUSIC 6.3) file to MUSICX.
MUSIC Setup Files (*.msf) are text-based files that can be developed in any external text editor or spreadsheet software. *msf can be developed independently of MUSIC as described here. This makes the *.msf particularly useful for automatically creating MUSIC projects using third party software.
