We are pleased to announce the release of MUSICX Version 1.50.1  

 

MUSICX Version 1.50.1... (Released: Oct 29, 2025) 

This patch release fixes the following issues:

  • Resolved issues in the Buffer Node related to infiltration. The primary link from the Buffer Node was incorrectly including infiltration, High Flow bypass, and Pipe Out flows, when it should have only carried the High Flow bypass and Pipe Out flows.

  • Fixed an issue with Music 6 imported node names containing certain special characters. The character ',' will now be transferred correctly, while the character '/' will be converted to '\'.

  • Fixed an inconsistency between the Buffer Node Exfiltration Rate value displayed and the value actually applied.

  • Fixed a bug that affecting the use of the Data Source option for configuring custom demand reuse in treatment nodes.

 

MUSICX Version 1.50.0... (Released: Mar 28, 2025) 

This release brings New features as listed below:

  • Climate Template Builder – Create standardized climate templates.

  • Flexible Time Steps – Run models at various time steps.

  • Command Line Runner – Batch runs & model integration.

  • Flow-Based Cumulative Frequency Graph Enhancement: This enhancement enables easy pre/post-development comparisons, improves visualization, and supports multiple receiving, Source, and Treatment nodes.

  • Improvements – UI, usability, stability & docs.

  • Bug Fixes – Improved stability, corrected text, and resolved issues with summary report export.

 

MUSICX Version 1.40.0... (Released: Oct 08, 2024) 

This release brings New features as listed below:

  • MEF file Import Functionality to allow the seamless transfer of MUSIC6 models to MUSICX.

  • MUSICX now supports the use of Monthly Time Series Potential Evapotranspiration (PET) data for enhanced modelling capabilities.

  • Minor bug Fixes

Important Notes

  • MUSIC 6 MSF/MEF files can be imported into MUSICX

  • Existing climate data file (MLB) files can also be imported

  • GPT node has been merged with the Generic node in MUSICX
