We are pleased to announce the release of MUSICX Version 1.40, a major upgrade designed to facilitate the seamless transition from MUSIC6 to MUSICX.  


MUSICX Version 1.40.0... (Released: Oct 08, 2024) 

This release brings New features as listed below:

  • MEF file Import Functionality to allow the seamless transfer of MUSIC6 models to MUSICX.
  • MUSICX now supports the use of Monthly Time Series Potential Evapotranspiration (PET) data for enhanced modelling capabilities.
  • Minor bug Fixes


MUSICX Version 1.30.0.13025 (Released: Feb 01, 2024) 

This release brings New features as listed below:

  • Inclusion of a Buffer Node
  • Improved Graphical User Interface for the data input window
  • Updates to the Simulation in Progress Bar, so users can better track run progress

What’s new in MUSICX 1.0.0.10799 (Released: Jun 18, 2020)

  • Modern code (C#)) and flexible software architecture making it easier to adopt new science and knowledge
  • Improved Graphical User Interface (GUI) for data input, tabular input/output, group editing, advanced graphs, and tabular result comparison
  • Improved Rainfall-Runoff modelling options and more flexible time-steps
  • Keep track of all-time series data and results in Data Manager
  • Ability to connect to Source Model for Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM)


Important Notes

  • MUSIC v6.3 MSF file can be imported into MUSICX
  • Existing climate data file (MLB) files can also be imported
  • Any custom SQH curves for treatment nodes need to be imported separately
  • GPT node has been merged with the Generic node in MUSICX
  • Buffer node has not been offered in MUSICX yet
