3.6.3 - Beta Release (March 2014)

Since the first release of 3.6.3 the latest beta (3.6.3.1427beta) contains fixes for:
RM-12472 - Add in climate data import tool under Tools menu
IQSO-36 - IQQM to Source plugin - Progress bar 


Main areas worked on for this release are:
  • (warning)  RM-12407 - Getting issue details... STATUS  To fix this drop a new node onto the schematic and it will resolve the issue. 
  • Resource Assessment and Annual accounting: Resource Assessment and Annual Accounting issues in 3.6.3beta
  • Run time performance improvement for calculation of constraints in storages.  Noticeable for models with a number of storages.
  • Feature Table improvements:
    • Import / Export has been implemented
    • Copy paste number of cells / rows
    • Context variables for Rainfall runoff models
    • Climate Data import tool is now available under Tools \ Climate Data Import Tool
    • Demonstration video:  FeatureTableDemo.mp4
  • A number of graphing changes such as renaming key's on graphs and adding a Residual Mass plot.
  • Plugins are less fussy about versions. RM-11121 - We now only update 3 (e.g. 3.6.3) digits of the "AssemblyVersion" rather than 4 (3.6.3.1393).
  • Rainfall in Rainfall runoff models units have changed from mm/d to mm. This shouldn't impact anyone with daily models, however should correct runoff generation in models with shorter and longer timesteps. 
  • A number of minor issues and bugs.

Other suggestions include:

Adding in Storage Outlets - its not simple since each storage can have multiple outlets.

Adding in more detail under the water user such as crops.

Existing Issues
  • Copy & paste a number of selected nodes and links in the schematic view:
    • does not copy expressions and 
    • copied scenarios fail to run when using marker routing for constituents
  • Can now add constituents to a catchments model.  Save and re-load project  - it will not be able to run straight away.

Insight

To run Insight you also need to install the 32bit version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
This is for both 32bit machines and 64bit machines since the library we use is 32bit:

Plugins

If you are downloading community plugins then you will need to manually 'unblock' the dll's in Windows after downloading. To do this, right click on the dll file in windows explorer and select properties. At the bottom of this window will be comment along the lines of 'this file has been downloaded from the internet and has been blocked to protect this computer'. There should be an 'unblock' button next to the warning. Click unblock and then click ok. The plugin should then load
