4.5 Result Changes from 4.3

Some results have changed between Source 4.3 and Source 4.5. The eWater development team maintains a detailed system to track when results vary between different version of Source. The areas where you may notice differences are: 

  • Environmental Flows
  • The Irrigator Demand model and the agricultural runoff model was not ponding from rainfall
  • Weirs could release below the minimum operating constraint
  • Ownership Borrow and Payback at Weirs has changed
  • AWBM parameter A3 is now correctly calculated during runtime

You may also need to reconfigure your model are because of improvements to model validation for Data Sources and Functions. This will show up as an assurance rule.

To test your project:

  1. Create a regression test in Source 4.3, see: 4.3 Regression testing.
  2. Run it in Source 4.5 to test for any result changes, see: /wiki/spaces/SD45/pages/53969221.
