There are five constituent generation models available in Source. Further information on these is available in the following sections:

The first five of these models are potentially suitable for modelling any constituent (at zero concentration in the case of the first). Note that the EMC/DWC and Export rate models are more relevant for estimates of long term loads.

The nil constituent, EMC/DWC, export rate and observed concentration models operate at the functional unit scale, while power function and simple GW salt models operate at the catchment scale. A suitable constituent filter needs to be applied to results from the EMC/DWC and export rate models if they are to be brought to catchment scale.

Note that the simple GW salt model is only available if you have installed the PERFECT GWlag plugin.
