Catchment water quality processes modelled in Source are:

The constituent generation models operate at various scales: some are applicable at the functional unit scale and others at sub-catchment and catchment scales. Some can be used to derive time series of constituent exports while others are only suitable for estimating statistics such as long term averages.  Most of them are generic in that they can be used to model any constituent. See the Constituent Generation - SRG section for further information.

The constituent filters provide a variety of techniques for modelling the modification of constituent concentrations or loads, depending on the technique chosen by the user. Some of the techniques are suitable for use in scaling up outputs from one scale to another (e.g. converting exports from functional units to deliveries to streams).  See the Constituent Filters - SRG section for further information.
