Flow Based Cumulative Frequency Graphs

The Cumulative Frequency Graphs can also be used for the statistical analysis of the flow and contaminant concentration data. There will be times when it is convenient to confine statistical analysis and cumulative frequency curves to a particular range of flows. It may be necessary to exclude periods of zero flow when assessing compliance with guidelines, or periods of baseflow and stormflow may need to be addressed separately. This can be done by specifying a Flow Threshold in Flow Bounds at any point.

The Flow Bounds are also called Flow Sub-sample Bounds. The user can select the Upper and Lower Flow Threshold (e.g. 0 and 1 ML/day shown in Figure 1) and Apply Filter. The graph (/table) will display re-analyzed statistical results based on the bound data.
