4.7 Result Changes from 4.5

Some results have changed between Source 4.5 and Source 4.7. The eWater development team maintains a detailed system to track when results vary between different version of Source. The areas where you may notice differences are: 

  • Recorders have been expanded and a number of them have been renamed in Annual Accounting 
  • Weir recorders have changed their path
  • We have included validation for Water Users to use Account Sharing when assigning Resource assessment accounts. This is an assurance rule, so it can be disabled.
  • Storage initial levels were not always being applied
  • Off Allocation calculations could end up in an infinite loop under certain conditions
  • Negative ownership could occur in Weir's upstream reach
  • Gauged releases are now the highest priority when using priority ordering

You may also need to reconfigure your model are because of improvements to model validation for Data Sources and Functions. This will show up as an assurance rule.

To test your project:

  1. Create a regression test in Source 4.5, see: /wiki/spaces/SD45/pages/53969221.
