Beta Release 4.6.3 is now available. Changes include a new simulation log file, including more metadata in the Results Manager, enhancements to the Mass Balance Tools and allowing the conversion of weirs to storages and storages to weirs.

For a single analysis, there is now more metadata included in the Results Manager:

And a Simulation log file can be configured in Edit \ Scenario Options \ Simulation Log:

The Simulation Log can be a fixed width .txt file or a .csv file.

Mass Balance Tool improvements

The Scenario Mass Balance Tool now has groups.  This means you can categorise different components of the mass balance.

Changes to Weirs

We have been making a number of changes to weirs to improve converting weirs to storages and vice-versa. You can now Use Copy \ Paste with weirs in the schematic view, and Convert Storages to Weirs or Weirs to Storages. Converting Storages to weirs is available under Tools \ Convert Storages and Weirs...

Plugin Developers

We are planning on moving to C# 7, Visual Studio 2017 and .net 4.7.2 early next year, so you will need to make sure you have updated Visual Studio to continue developing plugins in the beta versions.

Insight

To run Insight, you also need to install the 32bit version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
This installer is for both 32bit machines and 64bit machines since the library we use is 32bit: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).
